Air conditioning (summer period): The use of air conditioning is handled at its discretion by the remote control. To avoid unnecessary waste, please turn off the air whenever it leaves the room; it takes a few minutes for the air conditioner to reach the desired temperature. Use of air conditioning in the common areas is handled by our service staff. Heating (winter time): The central heating is programmed by a chronostat thermostat that automatically adjusts the temperature and the hours of ignition. It should be noted that the energy saving rules do not exceed 20 C.

The history of the Bed & Breakfast Casa Rovai The B & B Casa Rovai was born in 2005 after a long and careful restoration. Since 1900 has been the house of our grandparents in an old Florentine palace in via fiesolana 1. The street is from the time of Dante and was located close to the second circle of walls, from here started the way to Fiesole. During the renovations were discovered under the plaster, the ancient frescoes dating from 1500-1700, which now decorate the 6 rooms of the bed and breakfast in the historic center of Florence, on the 1st floor. Twelve years later, on the 2nd floor, we opened three new rooms, with furniture in modern style. The combination of old and new is the strong point of this B & B, always attentive to needs and tastes of the guests. The B & B is located in Florence in the historic center Our Bed & Breakfast Casa Rovai in Florence is the ideal place for singles, couples and families who want to visit museums and religious monuments with a short walking distance: the Duomo of Florence, Santa Croce Basilica, the Uffizi Gallery , the Academy Gallery, Piazza della Signoria with Palazzo Vecchio and Ponte Vecchio.

    A beautiful Single room with a memory foam bed and an exclusive private bathroom (not shared with anyone) outside the room. The room assigned is "La Lira", one of the ancient rooms on the first floor furnished with furniture of the twentieth century and with frescoed ceilings.
    The room overlooks the small inner courtyard of the building, away from the city traffic.

    A beautiful room with a double French memory foam bed and an exclusive private bathroom (not shared with anyone) outside the room. The room assigned is "Lo Studiolo", one of the ancient rooms on the first floor furnished with furniture of the twentieth century and with frescoed ceilings.
    Lo Studiolo has a 900-style wooden washbasin. The room overlooks the small inner courtyard of the building, away from the city's traffic.
